Título: Time Series Prediction using Convolutional Network

With the advance of connected devices and the development of small and accurate sensors, more and more data is produced and it opens the path for extracting information with great value for our lives. Many different events and activities are monitored all the time due to the importance of knowing what is happening and what should be done to control and avoid bad surprises. This is what motivates this work. The objective here is to give a prediction precise enough to serve as a guide for those people that depend on the behavior of events to take action. The use of machine learning for predicting events based on a time series has been studied for many scientists and this work intends to propose an alternative way of doing that. CNN's are used normally for finding patterns in images or matrices, but here it is going to be used for analyzing a time series for predicting its future behavior. As in the images case, the algorithm will learn the patterns existing in the series and then use this information for giving in advance what is probably happening next.
